Tourist postcards set

In spring 2026, I created a series of watercolors for my longtime friend, the wonderful guide Dobri Janković (@dobri_guide_serbia). Dobri is a licensed guide and conducts tours in Russian, English, and German. He prepared a new tour through Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, promisingly titled “We Ride and Eat”. Together, we came up with a series of five watercolors depicting five of the most memorable places that Dobri’s guests can see during this tour. And as a keepsake from this journey, there will also be a series of postcards featuring reproductions of these watercolors.

The postcards feature:

  • the “Victor” monument, located in the Belgrade Fortress, Belgrade, Serbia;
  • Emir Kusturica’s ethno-village “Drvengrad”, Mokra Gora, Serbia;
  • the “Sebilj” drinking fountain in Baščaršija, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina;
  • the “Old Bridge” over the Neretva River, Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina;
  • the “Old Town”, Budva, Montenegro.

Photographs provided by Dobri Janković were used as references. The postcards are printed on textured uncoated paper that imitates watercolor paper.

I am open to collaborations. Contact me, and we can discuss how we can bring your ideas to life on paper.
